The Galley is a fully-fitted kitchen area with plenty of units providing good storage and fitted ‘white goods’. To the starboard side is a full-size 2m x 60 cm fitted ‘fridge, with sufficient space for the contents from large shopping trips, when preparing for cruising the waterways. There is also a carefully fitted full height larder unit and the area beneath the gunnel has been cleverly designed as further shelving for smaller items, with custom made sliding doors matching the fitted units. In addition, there is a 90 cm wide pan drawer unit, for cutlery, pots and pans. 

To the port side is a large 5 burner gas hob, with gas oven fitted below. There are 2 corner units, with pull-out shelving, either side of the sink unit, with a recycling / refuse unit beneath; on the island there is a 45 cm dishwasher, with space for trays alongside.

The work surfaces are custom made from elm, to match the rest of the shelving. They have been extremely well made, resisting water damage, and with a narrow upright ridge all round to prevent sliding of objects, when at sea. The wall behind the hob is fully tiled up to the wall cupboards, one of which includes an extractor unit. A coffee machine stands on the work surface in the starboard corner adjacent to the saloon area.

The steps up to the wheelhouse can be opened to reveal further hidden storage space for bulky or replacement items that do not need to be in the kitchen cupboards. Additional hatches are included in the galley and saloon area, providing access to the underfloor spaces, but there is one hatch in the kitchen area floor in front of the ‘fridge for cool (under waterline) storage, nicknamed our wine cellar!
