Guest Cabin

The forward cabin, accessed from the saloon is the main guest suite, with a king size bed. It continues the same use of beautiful woods in the ceiling, sweeping shelving around the cabin and two storage units, one for hanging clothes and one with shelves. The ash graining above the dark wood bedhead is a particularly interesting pattern, having been matched across several panels.

The floor is carpeted and allows access to underfloor storage hatches. There are four double-glazed circular gunmetal portholes, two of which can be opened, these latter 2 having mosquito netting and all having fitted blinds that emphasise the shape of the portholes. There is also an escape hatch which opens onto the fore part of the superstructure. Beneath the bed is an additional water tank (containing approximately 0.75 tonne) and access to the bow thruster tunnel.

On entering this space, there is a fully tiled toilet and hand-basin area, with shaver point, to the port side and a tiled full-sized power shower to starboard. Each have teak and ash bi-fold doors. The main door into the cabin can be hung flush with the bulkhead to the saloon, so that these wash rooms are en-suite to the cabin, but the door can also be hung further forward, so that the wash rooms can be shared with anyone using the sofa-bed in the saloon.
